Yamaha Fazer Launched

Some good news, for all those who enjoy riding the FZ-16 but don’t like the naked-street-bike look The performance bike maker has launched new bike called – Fazer, which is based on the FZ-16 platform. 

Like the FZ-16 and recently launched FZ-S, the Fazer will be powered by a four stroke, air cooled 153 cc engine that can produce a max output of 14 PS at 7500 rpm and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6500 rpm.

The new bike will sport a snazzy quarter front fairing with mounted rearview mirrors and split head headlamps. The fairing accentuates the bike’s chunky theme.

Speaking to the media, Mr. Yukimine Tsuji, CEO & Managing Director, India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. said, “It gives us great pride to say that we have reached yet another milestone in the history of India Yamaha Motor as we inaugurate the new plant and launch Fazer.” He added, “New Fazer is the latest addition in our portfolio of technologically superior bikes including YZF-R15, FZ16 and FZ-S which exhibit Yamaha’s global ingredients – Performance, Innovation & Design and are the Best Products currently in the market to fulfill the aspirations of Indian biking enthusiasts

The bike will be available at a price of Rs. 72,000 Ex-Showroom, Delhi and will be available in four colors viz Electric Blue, Midnight Black, Lava Red, Flaming Orange.
